Germany's Oktoberfest of wine

For two weekends in September more than 600,000 people attend Wurstmarkt in Bad Durkheim, the world's largest wine festival.

Drink in a special wine goblet called the Dubbeglas invented by a Durkheim butcher as you taste wine from 36 historic local wineries and nearly 100 young wineries.

Wine is sold in half liters for $6 USD. Not too bad, right?

Wurstmarkt is celebrating its 600th anniversary this September. Perhaps you don't have time to plan your trip to the 600th edition of the festival. But how about the 601st? Konjo Travel can help.
